Darien Rioja Tempranillo 2008
At Trader Joes, 2 months back, I picked up a $6 bottle of Darien Rioja Tempranillo 2008, Denominacion de Origen Calificada, produced and bottled by Bodegas Darien S.L, Logroño Spain. It was enjoyable, drinkable, a good "every day wine". Nothing awesome, but for $6 my expectations were not targeted to a Pomerol. Goes well with Spanish and Italian traditional dishes, as well as US Southwestern foods.
