Foreign Policy ran a good article yesterday (link here) about how the Green Movement's opposition is slowly winning over time. Then today, automatic weapons are fired at opposition leader Mehdi Karroubi's car - he survived (link here). Up to now, opposition leaders had not been the targets of regime violence, just their supporters have been. Has ignition of this highly volatile mix begun? I really hope there's no massacres =(
Slow changes over time, that are organically nurtured, and which become inexorable are much better than violent, bloody, revolution, in my opinion.
