Indian Government Officials Resign

National and State government ministers resign in India, over the Mumbai terrorist attacks.
"Home Minister Shivraj Patil said he took 'moral responsibility' for the assault by heavily-armed Islamic militants"
Three top officials resigned, as tension mounts in the sub continent. Imagine that, a responsible elected democracy, that when there's a major f*ck up, the officials responsible for governing the agencies that could have / should have / might have prevented it, do not get the Presidential Medal of Freedom. "Moral Responsibility" - what's that like?

  1. Shivraj Patil debates with Sardar Vallabhai Patel on who was the better home minister. Check http://www.rameshsrivats.net/2008/12/shivraj-patil-versus-sardar-patel.html
