Somalia has some really stupid pirates (link here). Yeah... we have a small motorboat, and some AK47s and AKMs, machetes, , and maybe 1 or 2 RPG-7s... so lets attack a Perry Class Frigate, that is equipped with:
One OTO Melara Mk 75 76 mm/62 caliber naval gun
two Mk 32 triple-tube (324 mm) launchers for Mark 46 torpedoes
one Vulcan Phalanx CIWS; four .50-cal (12.7 mm) machine guns.
2 × SH-60 LAMPS III helicopters
and a 82,000 sHP propulsion system.
The Vulcan Phalanx (link here) can fire 3,000 rounds of 20mm ordnance a minute... that's like 50X more projectiles than the Germans used with their FlaK 30 gun when attacking Ramelle in Saving Private Ryan, to pulverize the defending Americans...
It's not "balls" or "audacious" when it becomes absolute sheer stupidity. Motorboat vs the US Navy, is like wielding a 3 inch pocket knife against a Quake Fiend. Idiots. Allah didn't save them, or their little boat.

And a Frigate on the open seas, with all hands on deck, at battle stations, being approached by hubris filled Somali teenagers is NOT the same as the USS Cole, docked in a supposedly "friendly port", being rammed by a dingy full of explosives by a suicide bomber jihadist f*cktard.
