MS, ND, MT & AK hold outs

46 states, the District of Columbia, and several territories have hit JustJoeP, but Mississippi, North Dakota, Montana, and Alaska have found no reason to visit here. Not sure if that is population density, apathy, random chance, lack of local IP addresses, or a combination of those and other variables.

  1. The Russian hits are spambots.

    The UK hits are Ron.

  2. actually, unless Ron dozens radically different IP addresses, and visits Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle upon Tyne, Walton-le-Dale, Leeds, Stoke on Trent, Somercotes, Nottingham, Loughborough, Birmingham, Coventry, Peterborough, Lighthorne, Oxford, Bournemouth, Woodley, Harpenden, Wembley, Poplar, Basildon AND London, all in the same month, there's more people in the UK than just Ron hitting it. Akin to how the 125 hits from 37 cities in NY are not all Brooklyn, and only 1/2 are form the NYC metro area.

If the spambots are Russian, they're doing a very poor job, as I get very few spam emails on the justjoepblog gmail.

  3. unless Ron (has) .. and... "1/2 are from"

...yes, I CAN spell and use grammar.

  4. Spambots wouldn't be crawling your site to send *you* email, they would be doing it to scrape email addresses (and god knows what else). So lack of spam to you is not a good indicator of lack of bot-crawling of your site.
