Naperville is a stretch, but it is connected through urban sprawl. Joliet I agree, is pretty far out there - akin to Valpo. There's other cities on the list (Sandy Springs GA, Concord NC)that make even less sense.
The list is from Forbes, which I've come to not trust entirely over the years. Forbes, I think, suffers from a common NYC myopic condition wherein everything more than 25 miles outside the NY metro area is "fly over land".
That list makes no sense. Why are Naperville and Joliet(!) lumped in with Chicago, as if it's all one city?
