SF Giants Stomped Texas Rangers in 2010 World Series

4 games to 1, the Giants made games 6 and 7 unnecessary last night in the 2010 World Series (link here).  After moving from New York to San Francisco more than 50 years ago, the SF Giants beat the team formerly owned (and driven into the ground) by George W Bush.  Now if that was a portend of the elections later today, that would be awesome.  Sorry George Will, but baseball is not a metaphor for the rest of life.  Alas.

  1. Baseball makes a great metaphor for softball.

Glad to see the giants win. And that SF stadium looks great -- would love to see a night game there.

  2. I got to go to Game 2. It was pretty surreal.
