Country First, forget your pre-existing conditions

I do not understand why Obama's campaign does not EMPHASIZE MORE the fact that McCain's privatized health care proposal will mean that nearly 100 million Americans who have diabetes, hypertension, asthma, enlarged prostates, arthritis, and dozens of other chronic health issues will have NO COVERAGE when they go to get their private insurance. Americans are not a homogeniously healthy & robust population - if we were, health care costs would not be soaring as much as they are. Everyone has a family member or knows someone with one of these chronic conditions. All of those people, when going to private health insurers in McCain's proposal, without a national plan, will ALL be denied coverage due to pre-existing conditions. Why isn't the Obama campaign emphasizing this more? It seems to be a GIANT GAP that needs to be exploited.
