In Three Years, They'll Be Even Smaller & Implanted

Intel's CEO Brian Krzanich revealed "Edison" this week.  A fully powered pentium class computer the size of an SD card (link here).

With the rapid acceleration in miniaturization and computing power, my guesstimate is that it will be about 3 years (maybe 4) until there will be a fully powered & rugged-enough-to-survive-in-the-corrosive-human-body, and small enough to be implanted device that the geekiest, or most severely injured, or the most addicted, or the most extremely lethal & pathological of the homosapiens will have installed inside them - some for good, some for evil, some for just recreation.
